Charm, Comfort & History

Last Wednesday I had the honor of having lunch at Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury. I say it's an honor because the food was absolutely fabulous and the company was equally fabulous. I had the opportunity to sit with two of the inn's finest, Kathy & Guy, and learned about the history of the inn, was able to see the different function rooms and as I already mentioned, tasted the wonderful food.

The Wayside Inn is a perfect location for a wedding! It is loaded with charm and has such an immense sense of comfort. Having a small ballroom, a main dining room and a tent for outdoor weddings, the inn can accommodate intimate weddings of 30 guests to a grand affair of 200 guests. With the beautiful Martha-Mary Chapel on the grounds you can also have your intimate ceremony on site as well. The grounds themselves are immaculate, providing the perfect backdrop for pictures. Add to that the Grist Mill, it is sure to please. Longfellow's Wayside Inn is a perfect place to start your new life together. If you're not getting married and just follow my blog, well then I highly suggest it for lunch or dinner and maybe even a weekend getaway!

Oh this is a lovely venue for a wedding!!!
The backdrop of water-mill and the horse and buggies are fabulous for story-book weddings!
This reminds me of a childhood girl's dreams of her wedding coming to reality!
