Our 2nd Annual Bridal Expo

We held our 2nd Annual Bridal Expo on March 9th at the Myriad Ballroom in Mendon, Massachusetts where 39 local vendors were on display. Upon arrival guests were able to listen to duet violinists from Sound Melodies while they waited to register. Once inside the ballroom they were able to talk to each of the vendors, see samples of their work, try some delicious cake and hors d'oeuvres and see the fashion show! The show featured fashions for every season, for the bride, bridesmaids, flower girl and moms which were all provided by Bridals by Rochelle while the Men's formal wear and music was provided by Celebrations.
The show didn't stop at fashions either! Each of the ladies had formal up-do's & styles created by
Salon Vicaro and their make-up professionally done by Color Intrigued while carrying beautiful flowers provided by Mendon Greenhouse and 77 Blossom Shop. After all, when you're in the Wedding Party there is always more than just a fabulous dress to complete the ensemble! Want to see all this? Scroll down to the bottom for pictures!

Speaking of flowers... Mendon Greenhouse really outdid themselves once again with their gorgeous display. I found it was the perfect place to stand to catch part of the show because the aroma of the flowers was simply a delight!

I was also fortunate enough to take home some cake from Specialty Wedding Cakes and the tangerine cake was pure heaven.
I didn't know the flavor while eating it, other than it was divine, and then I was told by a friend, and fellow vendor, what flavor it was. If you're reading this thinking "tangerine cake?", YES! tangerine cake! It's not something I would have probably tried knowing the flavor beforehand as I'm not really a tangerine fan and when it comes to cake itself I'm more of a chocolate or white chocolate, cappuccino, amaretto, raspberry or strawberry filled type of girl but WOW I would have that again in a second! That was just ONE of the cake vendors exhibiting at the expo, there were 2 more with samples as well. Note to self, must try more cake next year!

For anyone who missed the expo this year I do hope you'll have the opportunity to attend next year. Whether you're getting married or it's your sister, daughter, brother, son, cousin or friend, spread the word! It's an annual event that happens in March of each year and it will only get better with age! For now, here are some pictures of some vendors and of the fashion show from this years event!
