Will You Marry Me?

As a wedding planner I experience many stages of the wedding planning process, however it is rare to experience the actual proposal. Well this past weekend, I experienced just that. I was at a post-holiday party at a friend's house, and suddenly a guest wanted to have everyone's attention. He began by saying it was great to be surrounded by so many friends, ones that he rarely sees and ones he sees often. He then went on to say he couldn't think of a better time, with so many great friends around him, to ask someone special something really important. He turned to his girlfriend who was extremely surprised, got down on one knee and proposed. It really made an already great night even better. I've witnessed very few proposals, and it was fabulous!
