Share the Love Giveaway

I have really been enjoying Spring this year! My older son is playing T-ball and loving it, and in a few short weeks they’ll be out of school for the summer and I’m really looking forward to it. In fact, something else is coming up soon! So Chic Events’ 2nd Anniversary is also the same week that school ends! I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already. It hasn’t been an easy 2 years but my passion for this industry hasn’t faltered in the least. I have met some amazing people, worked with some fantastic couples and have had a blast doing so. All of these things have inspired me to want to do something for the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. getting married in 2009!

So here’s the deal, I’ve decided to do a Share the Love Giveaway! There are 3 prizes total, a GRAND prize, 1st prize and 2nd prize.

First let’s talk about the GRAND prize! I’m giving away my Advising & Consulting package for FREE! What exactly does that package include? Well I’m more than happy to answer that. My advising & consulting package is for the bride that wants to plan her own day but wants some guidance along the way to navigate through the many choices she’ll face. I will meet with you and your fiancé and together we will determine what direction you’d like to go in regarding your style, theme, likes and dislikes. The specifics of this package include unlimited contact via email, theme & style development, design direction, budget management, etiquette guidance and vendor referrals.

1st Prize is $200 off a package (Full-service planning, “Day-of” Coordination or Advising & Consulting. Hourly consulting is excluded.)

2nd Prize is 2 free hours of consultation ($120 value)

I’m giving all of this away for free. Well OK I guess not entirely free. I do want something from you. I want to hear your story. What do I mean by that? I mean I want to hear how you met, how you knew he (or she) was “the one” and even how he proposed!

Since So Chic Events services all of New England, this contest is open to anyone in the New England states! All you have to do is send me an email and, in 300 words or less, tell me your story! Tell me why you should win! I’ll post the top six stories here on my blog and then, faithful readers, you vote for the couple you feel is most deserving! Votes will be tallied and the readers will ultimately choose all of the winners!

~Official Rules~

• Wedding must take place in 2009 and is subject to my availability.
• Entries must be 300 words or less and include a photo of the couple. Include the wedding date, location and any details about your wedding, especially ones you feel are unique! Please, let’s keep it real, no fake stories!
• Couple must not have a wedding coordinator already.
• All entries must be emailed to info@sochicevents.com with the subject line "Share the Love Giveaway".
• Entries must be received by midnight EST on August 31, 2008. The top six entries will be posted on this blog and readers will vote on the winners. Voting ends at midnight EST on September 13th and Winners will be announced on September 15, 2008.
• So Chic Events reserves the right to use images of the Winners and the event for display, publication, advertisement, or other business purposes.
